**The following responsibilities are associated with this job role but are not limited to**:

- Health, Safety and Environment - To perform site operations in a manner which complies with the relevant statutory health, safety and environmental provisions and any local site-specific requirements.
**This includes ensuring**:

- The control of work procedures is followed for all site work, and that (where required) prior approval (including permits to work) is obtained before commencing activities.
- Familiarity and understanding of all standard task Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work prior to the relevant work being undertaken. These should be reviewed with Site Operator involvement when necessary.
- Correct use of safety control measures, including; PPE, plant, equipment and materials in accordance with activity risk assessments and site rules.
- Notifying the Line Manager of all accidents, incidents, ill health reports and near misses and participating in site HSE initiatives, including QuEST Observations, 5S and DEC etc. Quality Control - To be aware that a Quality Control Contract Plan is available with systems and procedures compliant to ISO 9001.

**Duties include**:

- Undertaking and performing work activities in a manner which complies with the Quality System standards, including KPI and SLA targets.
- Taking action as necessary to correct any ‘non-compliance’ issues identified.
- Providing a high standard of customer service and care
- Resolving complaints and implementing lessons learned Operational Performance - To complete the activities and services as required by the site contractual agreement and other opportunities which may arise.

**Duties include**:

- Bagging / Sacking / Drumming / Dispatch / Shunter - operations
- Ensuring expected service standards are maintained
- Managing and coordinating of directly linked subcontractors and suppliers, ie. delivery / despatch drivers
- Cooperating and liaising with colleagues at different levels and departments.

**General - Other Duties**:

- Acting and behaving in accordance with the purpose, vision and values of the organisation.
- Undertaking planned overtime working (evenings, week-ends and bank holidays) which may be required as business needs.
- Undertaking training and development activities as required to enable competence for the role to be met.
- Carrying out any other reasonable request(s) from your line manager. Shifts for this role are 7-3, 11-7. It should be noted that this job description does not provide an exhaustive list of every activity relevant to the post. **Qualifications and Desired Skills**:

- FLT License is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
