**Purpose of the Role/Role Overview**:
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing technical support and training for engineers, as well as dealing with day-to-day management of engineers, communicating Company procedures and Client specific requirements to ensure an effective and complaint workflow.
Supporting the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a commitment to Quality of Work and professional attitudes for future development of the business, creating an environment which encourages employee development, good employee relations, teambuilding, and quality standards.
**General Duties/Key Responsibilities**:
- Take an active role in the management of Engineers, including recruitment and selection, staff inductions and the grievance and disciplinary process, ensuring that HR policies are followed.
- Ensure contractual requirements are delivered, maintaining records of site visits and Client meetings, ensuring the Company is always represented in a professional manner.
- Management of Engineers workload to ensure completion of duties both during normal working hours and through the 24/7 call out.
- Deliver action plans, to ensure timely work completion, at site where allocated resources have been unable to provide corrective repair
- Communicate Company procedures and Client requirements to Engineers, daily and through the Tool Box Talks.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with Company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring all health and safety requirements and legislation.
- Liaise with the Electrical Manager, Senior Managers, and SHEQ Manager on training requirements and technical support for existing and future Engineers.
- Conduct van stock checks to ensure engineers comply with all company stocking policies
- Conduct Fleet Management checks to ensure checks are being conducted weekly in line with company policy.
- Carry out Post Inspection Quality Checks, to pre-determined agreed target volumes, and provide reports for management to meet Client requirements and to identify future training and technical support requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures
- Any further duties as deemed necessary
