**Job description**

Working as a Supply Chain Planner based at our new, modern head office at Ellesmere Port, you will provide key support in the development of Planning systems and processes and assist in the day-to-day management of the capacity plan and production schedule.

**Duties**:

- To assist in the development of Capacity Plans and Production Schedules.
- To improve the quality of the MRP process.
- To support the development of a demand forecast to improve the inventory profile and planning processes.
- To raise production and purchase orders in the ERP system
- Liaising with suppliers regarding priority and overdue orders
- Monitoring supplier delivery performance
- Updating master data (lead-times, re-order levels, categories, etc)
- Supporting the preparation of reports and KPI’s
- Any other tasks required to support the team

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- An understanding of BOM’s, MRP and Planning processes
- Highly analytical, with a passion for and experience working with data is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail is a must
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Previous experience using ERP and Planning systems.
- Be self-reliant, organised, methodical and work within timeframes.
- Great communicator and the ability to work on your own initiative to meet deadlines but also work collaboratively with colleagues.
