We are looking for a practically minded individual with a good sense of humour to join our friendly Site Management team.

Responsibilities will include health and safety checks, tests and monitoring, porterage of deliveries, general maintenance and repairs, grounds maintenance including grass and hedge cutting using machinery, setup and striking furniture and exam spaces and interaction with the public during external lettings of our spaces including The Barn, our new event space and performance venue.

A hard worker and team player, you will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work to your own initiative. _**We would be particularly interested to hear from you if you have a trade background in mechanical, plumbing or electrical works.**_

You will be a key member of a team focused on maintaining a high-quality learning environment for students. This role will involve occasional heavy lifting and moving.

We use computer-based helpdesk and job allocation systems so basic IT skills are required for this role. Job specific training will be provided if required.

**Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week**. Occasional weekend working may be available on an overtime basis. Our Site Team work on a 3-week rotation shift system (including 30 minutes unpaid for lunch):

- Early - 6.30am to 2.30pm_
- Day - 8.00am to 4.00pm_
- Late - 1.00pm to 9.00pm_

**Salary**: **£20,442 - £26,658 **depending on skills, experience. We are more than willing to support junior applicants with training for this role.
