**An International business, with a focus on art logistics and exhibitions, private functions and property storage has multiple opportunities for Fine Art Technicians or Art Handlers to join their team.**
**You will be responsible for the safe receiving, handling, storage, packing, transfer and releasing of the wide variety of fine art and antiques, as well as providing an exceptional level of service to both our clients and staff.**
**These roles will suit someone with previous experience as an Art Technician or someone with experience of set or exhibition construction, coupled with attention to details.**
**The business requires a flexible approach and the need to work overtime, weekends and you may also be required to assist on other site locations. We have positions for both short term contract and permanent opportunities.**

**Responsibilities**:
- Exceptional care in handling, movement, storage and packing of property with your primary focus and goal being the safety of both people and property at all times.
- A high level of personal presentation at all times and compliance with the department dress code.
- Complete training and adhere to the company procedures
- Accurate labelling and locating, checking and condition reporting of all property
- Report all incidents, accidents, damages or losses to your manager immediately
- Meet all set up deadlines, including planning, transportation and communication with relevant teams.
- Provide exceptional client service, both internally and externally.
- Multi-functional and able to work in any site area.
- Day to day maintenance, ensuring all equipment inspections are carried out and any defects reported
- Maintain designated areas and ensure excellent housekeeping and a high level of security at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements. Demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for the health and safety at work of self and others and carry out risk assessments
- Work at height on ladders and mechanical platforms
- Helping to manage assigned departmental inventory via bi annual stock takes
- Ensure allocated area is adequately staffed with technicians and guards and raise any staffing or security concerns to your line manager
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss forthcoming requirements and schedules, overtime and events
- Ensure that all property is accounted for at all times and set ups are complete before public viewing commences
- Ensure property condition report and risk assessments are completed

- Excellent client service skills
- Flexible approach to work with ability to work evenings, weekends when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, honest, highly self-motivated and able to remain calm under pressure
- Organisational skills with high level of attention to detail
- General computer literacy
- Able to undertake regular heavy lifting
