Welding Supervisor

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily welding activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Train and mentor welding staff on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Review blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan workflows and allocate resources effectively.
- Implement quality control measures to enhance productivity and reduce errors in fabrication.
- Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines related to welding operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Skills**
- Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, plasma cutting, and soldering techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction site environments.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, fabrication methods, ductwork assembly, pipe threading, rigging, machining, and operating forklifts.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Competent in using calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to welding projects.
