**What you’ll be doing**

As the Sales Executive, you’ll work closely with our Corporate Account Managers to maximise membership sales and optimize the follow up process.

You’ll be a vital member of the Partnership team focusing on our membership sales to our Corporate Partners whilst practising effective data management. This includes data processing, data analysis and use of the CRM system to provide regular reports suchas numbers of recruited members and analysis of corporate partner activity. A strong set of skills with Microsoft office, especially Excel is key Full training on our systems, products and services will be provided.

You may be currently in a Telesales role or similar and looking to take the next step, ideally you will have experience of working in a target focused environment. As an excellent communicator, you’ll feel confident to pick up the phone or converse faceto face to deliver quality conversations and provide an exceptional customer service experience.

The role benefits from Hybrid working, which for us means attending the Stevenage office for some of the working week as well as home working. This role will also have the opportunity to support at Partnership and Development events, so travel will be requiredoccasionally.

**A little more about the role**
- Work closely with Corporate Account Manager’s to maximize membership sales and optimize the follow up process
- Maintain a steady conversion rate of membership sales from the leads generated by the external sales team
- Become an expert in IET membership sales and regularly look at how the sales process can be improved
- Work towards and regularly exceed membership targets
- Provide regular and accurate reports of members recruited in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide monthly claims report analysis of Corporate Partner activity
- Provide accurate feedback to the Corporate Account Managers and Partnership Account Managers on CRM usage
- Work with the Membership Scheme Coordinator to assist with processing members eligible for renewable third-party membership schemes
- Identify data from a variety of sources to support the Partnership Account Managers and Corporate Account Managers with membership recruitment.
- Document Membership Sales processes for audit purposes
- To take part in any process or procedure reviews and identify potential improvements
- Be an administrator for the CRM System, involving data interrogation and report generation
- Support with the delivery of Partnership and Development events
- Assist with the distribution of marketing collateral

- Excellent team-working, interpersonal and coordinating skills
- Experience in delivering quality conversations with customers via telephone
- Experience in dealing with customers/clients in a face-to-face environment
- Experience of working to set targets over a decided period of time
- High level of accuracy for data entry and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- Good level of IT skills - Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Confidence to run stands and events and deal with customer inquiries
