Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. The role involves assisting clients in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:

- Develop and implement individual care plans for clients
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Support clients in engaging with recreational activities
- Assist with medication management as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and their families effectively
- Proficient IT skills for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Qualification in C Health and Social Care is desirable
- Valid driving licence to transport clients when necessary

Pay: £9.61-£16.22 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Support: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Work Location: In person
