We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet our quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the till efficiently.
- Ensure timely service during peak hours by effectively managing time and prioritising tasks.
- Keep up-to-date with menu changes and new product offerings to enhance customer experience.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to foster positive customer interactions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
