Newstaff Employment services are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator for our client in St Albans.

Must have very strong general administrative skills and experience, with very accurate work and huge attention to detail.Industry experience is not essential.

The main function of the job is to support mainly partners, directors, managers, and other team members.The team of seven, excluding partners, looks after the accounting, administration and taxation affairs of UK resident trusts, personal tax for individualsand probate.

Main duties to include
- Allocating incoming scanned post to the correct partner, manager, or director to be actioned.
- Assisting with new client set up procedures, forms, and engagement letters.
- Preparing funds transfer forms and cheque payments.
- Completion of various forms and collating documents requested by banks and other financial institutions.
- Logging original Death and Grant of Probate certificates in and out of the building.
- Photocopying, scanning, and binding of documents e.g. accounts and tax returns.
- Assembling original Wills and documents to be sent to the Probate Registry.
- Assisting with the completion of forms required to close bank accounts or sell shares as part of the probate process.
- Organising tax payments.
- Assisting with collating basic details for completion of HMRC forms and making up files.
- Setting up spreadsheet templates and maintaining client files on document manager.
- Setting up Teams or Zoom meetings.
- Other general administrative tasks to support the team.

Qualifications/education required
- Ability to work as part of a team with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent IT skills and a willingness to adapt and evolve in this digital age.
- Shows initiative and seeks help with any potential issues identified.
- Motivated, resilient with a positive outlook and willingness to learn and develop.

**Hours**:Full Time/ minimum 30 hours per week, Monday
- Friday (office flexitime arrangement is in place 8am-6.30pm, core hours are between 10am-4.30pm)
- **Salary**:£20,000 pa to £25,000 pa depending on experience**Benefits: **23 days holiday (pro rata), pension, Life Assurance 4x salary
