Process Technologist

We are looking for a Process Manager to work within our NPD team based at the Bromborough site.

The main purpose of the role will be to lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of new and existing product specifications, development trials, process mapping, specification and sample submissions, along with any other more detailed tasks in line with customer / new business development requirements.

You key accountabilities will include the management of the factory process development associated with NPD/EPD projects. Oversees / performs factory trials in line with agreed critical paths. These will include initial feasibility trials, factory-scale trials & pre-production trials along with first production runs.

You will conduct full data gathering from factory trials to enable commercial visibility of products through the development process by providing required cost information. Working closely with the Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering Team, ensures that any relevant process and equipment limitations are raised during the early development stages of NPD.

You will manage the agenda for pre-production / launch days and act as the factory’s quality champion up to post launch review and sign off. You will also support the concept development stage, with particular emphasis on the feasibility and refinement of products before submission.
