You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of the group’s placement strategy. It is a strategic and operational role, where you will get to shape, contribute to, and execute the objectives of the group placement function; owning the delivery from ‘end to end’ with both internal and external stakeholders. A key part of which will be the development and management of strategic insurer partnerships.

Accountabilities:

- Work with the Group Placement Director to ensure that budgets are met or exceeded
- Manage and oversee the internal & external delivery of the placement strategy
- Manage and oversee insurer relationships including business planning and relationship management
- Manage and oversee the execution, delivery, and supervision of contractual documents and service agreements with insurers
- Identify and develop new relationships, products, and revenue streams for the group
- Review and analyse the current placement and insurer relationships of potential acquisitions, and align successful acquisitions to the group placement strategy

Required skills and experience:

- A sound understanding of the UK’s insurer and distribution landscape is essential, as well as an understanding of all core personal lines and commercial insurance products.
- Comfortable in presenting to senior stakeholders (C-suite level experience preferable).
- Ensure company procedures are followed, in order to adhere with both quality standards and compliance regulation, in accordance with their authority.
