For 40 years, our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group has delivered expert software, services and training to the UK and nations abroad. We provide services that can’t be found anywhere else and we’re relied upon to support truly leading-edge programmes that direct the future of CEMA and the wider EW infrastructure for the UK and its allies.

Our division is made up of motivated specialists from a range of backgrounds; project managers, solution architects, system engineers, scientists and ex-military personnel, who combine their expertise to help our customers achieve their true operational potential, and ultimately help keep their people and platforms safe.

Reporting to our Managing Director, Chris Stanley, you have the opportunity to run what is essentially a business within a business. A chance to own the profit and loss, strategic direction, international commercial partnerships and financial growth of a highly profitable and respected business area.

As a strong people leader with teams across the UK and internationally, you’ll travel to customer sites and regularly work onsite at our Lincoln office. Some teams work solely onsite in secure environments and your presence will be a key part of keeping them motivated and inspired. However we do offer flexibility and hybrid working as well as family friendly policies.

We can offer financial support, should you need to relocate to a commutable distance.

**How you’ll support us**

You’ll join our other Divisional Heads and MD on the Executive Management Team, to contribute to strategic level planning, execution, governance and performance. Your overarching focus will be the growth of your division. With your entrenched knowledge of the international CEMA / EW arena, you’ll guide us in defining the strategy that will help us achieve an ambitious goal of 100% growth over the next 5 years.

You’ll have opportunities to understand and build on our 40 year EW history, develop strong relationships with our team of experts, and get under the bonnet of the products and services that we’re known for in our specialist market.

Armed with all that knowledge, you’ll lead us into the next phase of our EW story.

You’ll help us make market-informed decisions on the creation and development of our products and services. You’ll be a key networker, commercially supporting the bidding and winning of new international business and becoming a true partner to our existing customers.

You’ll provide clear and inspirational leadership to your highly-skilled teams and have a vested interest in supporting the ongoing successes of projects and programmes within the division. You’ll be an exceptional listener, able to build rapport and find solutions, and a confident manager of managers.

**The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more**

We’re expecting that you’ll come with a deep understanding of our market, having proven leadership experience and fruitful connections within the Defence industry, with a specific focus on the CEMA / EW domain.

You’ll be a pragmatic leader, having held senior management positions. You’ll know how to strategise and inspire multiple teams and individuals to support multiple end goals.

You’ll be a confident communicator at all levels, and getting the information to make decisions

It would be great if you come with a strong understanding of programme management and strategic planning.

Due to the highly-secure nature of the projects you will be involved with, you **must** be eligible to work in the UK _and_ be eligible to undergo and maintain UK government DV Security Clearance.
