As a Spares Tendering and Contracts Administrator you will work alongside your team supporting and advising key stakeholders.

**What you'll be doing**
- Establish lines of communication directly with customers or via commercial advisors to clarify requirements
- Calculate the estimated works cost based upon price list / estimate / previous cost performance or comparative estimation
- Liaise with the sales team in order to determine the price to be quoted on those occasions where the established rules cannot be applied
- Seek the appropriate approval to quote when the tender value exceeds the limits of authority
- Create sales quotations within the ERP system
- Maintain the integrity of the information within the ERP system
- Review the terms and conditions of contracts where these are dictated by the customer, with the assistance of other members of the bid and sales teams as require
- Convert sales quotations to customer orders within the ERP system, performing contract reviews, allocating contract requirements and acknowledging customer order
- Monitor customer orders during the life of the contract and liaising with the customer on any contract amendments / costs / implications and appraising of progress as required by the contract

**Who we’re looking for**

To apply, we ask that you hold a recognised mechanical qualification (ONC or above) or have the ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.

Good written and verbal communication skills are a must as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

We also ask that you have a flexible attitude with excellent problem solving skills, as well as a high standard of numeracy. You must demonstrate a positive, innovative and motivated approach to your work combined with an ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis - working hours will be 37 per week.
