**_Protocol Education are looking to recruit 1:1 support assistants to work in our Newcastle area SEND schools. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with children and with SEND. It could lead to a career as a TA, teacher, educational psychologist, speech and language therapist amongst other options._**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, both in the classroom and around the school.
- Work with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) for each student
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support as needed
- Build excellent professional relationships with students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with SEND.
- An enthusiastic and empathetic personality.
- Proof of right to work in UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
