About us

Our Rhos-on-Sea shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Sue Ryder of Rhos on Sea is situated in a picturesque sea side resort a stone’s throw from the promenade on a bustling quaint street which has vintage shops and pretty cafes to give the area a very cosmopolitan feel. We are warm, friendly and inviting shop with a fantastic array of designer clothing, quality bric-a-brac and a wide selection of accessories for both the ladies and the gents. Fabulous creative window displays are a regular feature, with both donated and new goods fitting in with our beautiful surroundings and appealing to the local community and tourists alike.

About you

If your passion is fashion, if you have a creative flair for design displays & you love visual merchandising, then come and help our customers discover the best fashion in our Sue Ryder Rhos-on-Sea shop. As a volunteer, you'll put your creative eye for fashion to good use by producing interesting and inviting displays. You will create an atmosphere enticing customers into our shop by displaying unique & sought after items. You will also join us in meeting & greeting our customers and become a valued member of our team learning the till and so much more.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?

Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
