**Hours: Full Time, 9am- 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 9am- 5pm, one hour lunch break**

**Role overview**:
We are seeking a passionate Planner/ Assistant Planner with 6 to 18 months of experience in full-time practice to join us as a Planner in our London office, to help plan for a better future.

**What You'll Do and Achieve**:

- Be part of a range of projects from smaller scale sites right through to larger scale strategic developments, giving you a variety of roles and experiences.
- Providing commercial and site-specific planning advice
- Undertaking site assessments including appraisals, planning histories, policy analysis and interpretation of material considerations
- Managing engagement with local planning authorities, communities and other stakeholders
- Delivering robust quality evidence to support the planning case and appeals
- Representing the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
- Supporting the delivery of development projects for clients and an understanding of the commercial aspect of developments
- Managing client relationships and answering client correspondence
- Working in a large team to share ideas and work with your peers and learn from a number of experienced Planning Partners, sometimes working across teams within Bidwells.
- Part of a multi-skilled planning team including Heritage, Socio-Economics and Environmental Assessments.
- Help prepare and attend public exhibitions and other consultation events.
- Engage with clients, consultants and design teams.

**Requirements**:
It's important to us that you hold an RTPI accredited degree although applicants with non-cognate degrees but relevant work experience who can demonstrate a passion for a career in planning will be considered.

You may have experience of the following: Planner, Urban Development Strategist, Development Planner, Land Use Consultant, Planning Analyst, Development Coordinator, Community Planner, Land Use Planner, Sustainable Development Planner, Infrastructure Planner, etc.
