Recovery Driver

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and flatbeds, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during interactions with clients.

**Skills**
- Class 1 HGV Licence to drive 12ton heavy goods vehicle with use of spec
- CPC Qualification
- Digital Tacho Card
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driving licence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers.
- Familiarity with navigation systems or GPS devices for efficient route planning.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines.

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
