Our doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
At Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, in Headingley, Leeds, our incredible healthcare team provide expert care and support for people who are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families and loved ones.
About the Role
The main purpose of this position will be to lead and motivate a fundraising team to deliver target income for Sue Ryder, and grow fundraised income in line with the wider fundraising strategy of the charity. In order to achieve this goal, you will lead on high profile relationships in the region, with a strong focus on growing high value income.
About You
You will be a high performing fundraiser with experience of leading and managing a team to deliver income growth. You will be ambitious and proactive and relish the opportunity to support the Charity to achieve its ambitious goals.
You will:
- Have experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategy
- Have experience of securing financial support across a variety of income streams including major donors, corporate, events and volunteer-led, and
- Have experience of proactively exploring, engaging and acquiring new supporters and avenues of funding
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and to tight deadlines
- Be able to lead and motivate your team to ensure income growth goals and key objectives are met
