We are now recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Air Accounts Payable Team to facilitate the quick, efficient and accurate reconciliation of payments to our airline partners.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

**Job Accountabilities**
- Audit/quality control of airline tickets issued
- Produce and analyse loss reports and work with our Air Accounts Payable Manager to identify ways to reduce losses and errors
- Assist in reconciling airline (BSP) statements and ensure all postings to our finance system (Sage) are done and balanced
- Process supplier invoice into the company accounting system
- Reconcile invoices to the direct debits taken
- Account for the variances between value paid to the airline & value held for the cost in our accounting system
- Work closely with internal customers to resolve queries quickly.
- Work closely with management accounts to produce a monthly reconciliation of variances back to the ledger
- Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve issues

**To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications**:

- Previous finance experience - ideally in an accounts payable role
- Great teamwork experience
- Purchase ledger knowledge
- Numerate and accurate
- Methodical, organised and able to work to deadlines
- Great communication skills
- IT literate
- Results driven
- At least 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English - Grades 4/C or above (or equivalent)

**Desirable**:

- Travel industry experience
- Experience working with Sage X3
- Intermediate Excel
