Welder

Wood is recruiting 4 Welders for Sembcorp, Wilton. As a Welder, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our energy infrastructure.

**Prime responsibilities and duties
- Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the plating/structural workscope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor.
- Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable workpack / jobcard instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner.

To excel in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications and abilities:
Education: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Welding
Pass a medical
Pass a pre-employment weld test in - carbon, chrome, stainless, and to be experienced in boiler tubes, restricted access, mirror welding
CCNSG Safety Passport
Welding Skills: Proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to pass a weld test and medical
Experience: Relevant experience in welding and pipefitting.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to learn
