**Main duties of the job**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team and contribute to shaping this aspirational service. The post holder will provide highly specialist CBT work and contribute to the assessment, formulation and delivery of evidence based psychological treatments for people with eating disorders and their families, a s part of an MDT approach.. Whilst prior experience of working with eating disorders is of course beneficial, we would be keen to hear from anybody with transferable skills and enthusiasm for the field.

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**
As a CBT Therapist you will be experienced in delivering CBT and be able to deliver this to people across the age range who have an eating disorder. You will be able to deliver training to the team who deliver CBT-E and engage in CPD training for your development too. You will engage in supervision and supervising trainee CBT therapists and ensure that CBT is delivered keeping patients needs at the centre of treatment. As part of the team you will demonstrate trust and personal values of caring and team working with integrity. Team work is paramount to what we do and it is great to be a part of.
**Person specification**

**Essential criteria**
- Accreditated CBT therapist or working towards
- Post graduate experience demonstrates ability of transferable skills
- experience in working with people who have an eating disorder

Desirable criteria
- CPD in eating disorders

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £41,659.00-£47,672.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Eating Disorders: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Accreditated CBT therapist or working towards (required)
- CPD in eating disorders (desirable NOT essential) (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
