**This well established and highly successful company is looking for someone with experience in a numerical or financial analytical role or other financial based role to join them as a Loan Analyst. **About the role**:
Working as part of a team you will carry out the day to day administration of commercial property loans, ensuring accurate calculations and completeness of records and adherence to current processes in order to generate Borrower/Lender communications. Dutieswill include:
- Adding new loans onto the loan management system
- Creating Interest Calculation template in Excel
- Creating periodic interest calculations and producing interest statements
- Preparing payments from both borrower bank accounts and company accounts to lenders
- General loan operations duties including preparation of some overseas billing notices / remittance reports and rate setting
- Calculating Agency Fees, requisition of fee invoices from the Finance Dept and issuing invoices to Borrowers
- Maintaining several diaries and reports
- Maintaining the Datafile ensuring accurate records
- Daily monitoring of the company bank accounts
- Liaising with Loan Managers, lenders, clients and relevant third parties with regards to loan accrual queries / administration
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Previous experience in a similar numerical or financial analytical role
- Experience in some other form of financial role or sector such as mortgages, pensions, payroll or accounts (such as purchase ledger) would also be suitable if looking to build a career in a new sector
- Experience as a Loan Analyst or working in an Analyst role within the banking sector would be very interesting as would experience within commercial property
- Confident using Excel with either advanced skills or the ability to develop their skills further
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Analytical with a strong eye for detail
