Marston Holdings Limited are seeking a Vetting and Onboarding Coordinator to join their central recruitment team on a full time, permanent basis.
As a key administrator of the vetting and onboarding process, the role holder will need have clear and confident communication skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to work methodically to manage a large portfolio of work in line with service level agreements.
**Core Duties and Responsibilities**
- From point of offer, be accountable for the onboarding, vetting and employment screening for new joiners, proactively managing queries and escalations relating to the offers, vetting, and screening process from both hiring managers and new appointments.
- Being the point of contact for any DBS checks with un-clear results, following up with hiring managers and HR.
- Maintaining knowledge and understanding of current legislation impacting upon recruitment (right to work, GDPR, screening and vetting) and escalating where appropriate.
- Ensuring that onboarding and system administration is accurate across all business areas, proactively maintaining the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) / HR system in accordance with business needs and in line with business practice.
- Collaborating with the recruitment and wider People and Organisational Development team to review and recommend improvements on our onboarding and recruitment policy and process.
- Update and maintain employee electronic personnel files within the HR system.
- Supporting the Vetting and Onboarding Projects Coordinator with a variety of strategic resourcing projects as and when required.
**Person Specification**
- Previous experience working within an employment screening function and with outsourced vetting providers.
- Experience and understanding of ATS/ HR Systems such as CoreHR, Access XD and Broadbean.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of government legislation in relation to employment screening and employment law.
- Ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities whilst keeping to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, PDF, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
