£48,000 to £55,000, negotiable salary depending upon relevant experience

Working for a leading Design and Build business based in Bristol, you will be working on prestigious high value civil engineering packages. Projects could include utility diversionary works, new build structures, electricity substations and cable routes.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Undertake feasibility evaluation/assessment for projects
- Create civil designs & specifications.
- Prepare conceptual designs to create innovative and efficient solutions.
- Engagement with appropriate stakeholders in order to understand the root causes of challenges
- Build relationships and influence at leadership level.
- Management of external design resources
- Project management reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Production of documentation ensuring commercial parameters on projects are adhered to
- Input to programmes and ensuring design delivery dates and other technical milestones are achieved
- Ensuring works are designed to recognised guidelines and standards
- Ensure correct Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to
Your skillset will include
- Civil engineering design experience on £1million+ projects in the UK
- Highly proficient in IT, numeracy and written communications
- Civil engineering bias, ideally Degree or Higher Level qualification, or commensurate technical experience
- Project Management support
- Excellent team player
- Full driving licence
- Flexibility towards project workloads
