We are looking for a part time housekeeper that supports the day to day running of the children's nursery on the housekeeping responsibilities. This includes, providing a clean and healthy nursery environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the setting. Ensuring the highest level of Food Hygiene Practice and procedures. Where required in compliance with regulatory & statutory requirements.
- Maintaining our 5 star Hygiene rating.
- Adhering to strict dietary requirements.
- Cleaning up after meal times.
- Deep cleaning of nursery furniture, toys, and resources.
- Backup for nursery cleaner's holidays.

**Detailed responsibilities to include**:

- Be able to support meal times as well as cleaning up afterwards too.
- Responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen by ensuring high standards of hygiene and that health and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times.
- Responsible updating information for ordering, budgeting and stock maintenance for cleaning supplies.
- Responsible for maintaining a 5 star food hygiene rating.
- Responsible for cleaning and vacuuming: to carry out many tasks such as washing dishes, vacuuming both carpeted and hard flooring, cleaning bathrooms, oven cleaning and even dusting.
- Responsible for laundry
- to complete your laundry, as well as any other duties you may need help with.
- Responsible to undertake and complete weekly deep cleaning of Kitchen and all pantry areas.
- Responsible for backup for nursery cleaner when the cleaner is on holiday.

This role is for the hours of 1.00pm to 6.00pm Monday through to Friday - 25 hours a week, all year through as we are a Private Day Nursery, open all year round.

An enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory professional references are required before any employment can be confirmed.
