**Night Porter - The Psalter Hotel, Sheffield**

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable **Night Porter** to join our team at **The Psalter Hotel**, a stylish boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of Sheffield.

This is a **full-time position on a four-on, four-off rotation**, working alongside our existing night porter to ensure the smooth running of the hotel overnight.

**About the Role**

As Night Porter, you’ll be the friendly face of The Psalter after hours — ensuring our guests feel welcome, safe, and comfortable throughout their stay. Your duties will include:

- Providing a warm and professional welcome to late arrivals and early departures
- Maintaining hotel security and carrying out regular checks overnight
- Assisting with guest enquiries and requests
- Preparing for the following day’s operations (e.g. daily clean down, deep cleans, restocking, etc.)
- Supporting the duty manager and liaising with other departments as needed

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Confident working independently and taking responsibility overnight
- Calm under pressure and able to handle unexpected situations professionally
- Friendly, approachable, and committed to excellent guest service
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail

Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential — a great attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction are what matter most.

**Hours & Pay**
- **10:00 pm - 7:00 am**, four nights on, four nights off
- **£12.50 per hour plus service charge**
