Trainee Photographer and Hypnobirthing Instructor

An exciting opportunity to join the growing team at Tiny Adventure Studios in our Cardiff Studio. We create beautiful, award winning photography with uncompromising newborn safety standards giving unparalleled client experience resulting in show stopping, handmade products to cherish forever.

Hours: Part time hours, weekdays are flexible but must include one evening per week and either one Saturday or one Sunday each week.

**Salary**: This is a Trainee role, starting between £10-£12 per hour depending on age with pay revision as you learn, based on performance. Following successful completion of the probationary period there will be the opportunity for commission on sales which is uncapped.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN. We are passionate about finding the **right person** for the role and very happy to spend time training them.
- **Key features of the role / Key Responsibilities**_
- You will photograph clients on their incredible journey into parenthood. Initially starting with Little Sitter and Cake Smash session, progressing to families, maternity and newborn sessions.
- Full training will be provided for you to become a fully qualified Hypno-birthing instructor, holding group and 1-2-1 classes within the studio
- We are passionate about newborn safety in our industry and so all photographers are trained in safe handling & paediatric first aid before working in this area.
- To give incredible customer service and have the friendly, fun personality to get the best from the sessions
- Make the selections of the images you have taken and upload them to our in house editing team.
- You will order frames & prints from the suppliers and get them ready for collection.
- You will be given training in all areas, from photoshoots through to the admin side of the role.
- Although you will chat to clients about the products and packages available to them, there are NO cold calls in this role.

- **Required Skills**_
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential
- You need to be able to work independently with self drive, motivation and ideas of your own as well as working as part of our growing team. Taking ownership & responsibility is a must
- You will need fantastic admin skills and attention to detail with this. Although you will have a mix of portrait sessions to photograph along with the admin, you will need to update CRM systems with client details, order products, communicate professionally and efficiently with clients to maintain company standards. **This is crucial to the role.**:

- Excellent time management is a must.
- Understanding of Mac and relevant software is beneficial. You will need to upload images to our editing team so an understanding will help.
- Ensure daily and weekly targets are met while still maintaining quality.
- To be able to work well to deadlines with a keen eye for detail, positive attitude and be able to communicate to the team.
- Ensure all images delivered to clients within the stated times.
