**Shift**:Mon-Fri (1900 - 0200)

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Cargo Handling**:Receive, inspect, and process incoming cargo shipments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and handling procedures.

**2. Documentation**:Prepare and review shipping documents, including air waybills, bills of lading, and customs forms, accurately and in a timely manner.

**3. Load Planning**:Coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo onto and from aircraft, trucks, and other transportation vehicles, optimizing space utilization and ensuring proper weight distribution.

**4. Security Compliance**:Maintain strict adherence to airport security protocols and regulations, including screening cargo for prohibited items and verifying the integrity of shipments.

**5. Customer Service**:Interact with clients, airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns.

**6. Inventory Management**:Monitor inventory levels and track the movement of cargo within the airport facility, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting of any discrepancies.

**7. Equipment Operation**:Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts to transport cargo and facilitate loading and unloading activities.

**8. Quality Assurance**:Perform inspections of cargo and packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards and prevent damage during transit.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cargo handling, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of airport operations, cargo handling procedures, and regulatory requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and processing shipments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.97 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
