**Speech and Language Assistant - Maidenhead - Psychology Graduates Wanted**
**(Criminology, Sociology, and similar will be considered)**
This Learning Support Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for an Aspiring Speech and Language Assistant to gain valuable experience providing critical educational and mental health support for students with a primary diagnosis of Autism.
This specialist Autistic Provision Specialist School are looking for someone with a graduate background in Psychology (criminology and sociology also accepted) to join their learning support team. This SEN Speech + Language Assistant role is based on holistic,therapeutic and Restorative practices designed to meet the needs of students with complex needs aged 3-16. CAN you demonstrate the value of an education to a child? Restorative Practice is a way of finding behaviour we want to promote, and supporting it toblossom.
Alongside their primary diagnosis of Autism, many of the students will have a secondary diagnosis of a mental health need, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Many students will have experienced trauma's at home, from drug abuse, physical abuse, and more.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to gain valuable experience working alongside Educational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, established Speech and Language Therapists, and more.
**Speech and Language Therapist Assistant - Autism Specialist Provision - Maidenhead**

- ABA and CBT Therapies deployed, delivering key skills where students could re-enter the mainstream or be safe in their education.
