**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including slicing ingredients and preparing sauces.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers and work well in a team setting.
