Portico are on the lookout for an organised and customer focused Welcome Host (Receptionist), for a multi-tenanted corporate building offering premium office space in the heart of St Albans.

The redevelopment of the building will incorporate an enhanced specification resulting in a high-quality and energy efficient building, encompassing national ambitions for sustainable development.

The overall aim of the Welcome Host is to play the central role in the community life and operations of the building, creating a positive impact on the working environment and visitor experience.

Working closely with other service providers, the Welcome Host will provide a warm welcome, customer focused assistance onsite and a fond farewell to create lasting memories for visitors & occupiers.

The Welcome Host will drive the visitor & occupier journey by implementing surprise and delight ideas to enhance the overall experience and organise different events, activities and initiatives to drive occupier engagement in the building.

They will have a fantastic knowledge of the building's operations and work closely with the client to innovate regularly. In addition to this, the Welcome Host supports the Facilities Manager with occupier communications and other administrative tasks.

Customer service experience is required for the role and experience of arranging events is a desirable.

Shift pattern: 8am-6pm from Monday-Friday
Closest train station: St Albans
