You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part time and full time roles.
Sense now has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers in Ottery St Mary, devon. We have a variety of opportunities available up to 37.5 hours per week.
Sense Otterhayes is a cluster on supported living services (7 properties) and one residential care home (for 5 people). The services have access to a poly tunnel for people to grow their own fruit and vegetable. There is an art room and a small studio. This is really fantastic time to join Sense Otterhayes - as we move forward with an ambitious plan to bring about major changes - we want to modernise this newly acquired service.

Positive, with a can-do attitude.
Caring and empathetic.
Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).

No two days will be the same
This role in Ottery St Mary might include supporting people with:
Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.
Finances.
Medication and wellbeing.
Working.
Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
