Street Works/Permit Coordinator

**Salary**: £22-25k

Hours: Full time (40 hours per week) Mon-Fri Office based - Hull

25 Holidays + bank holidays

Bauer Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced street works/permit coordinator to join a dynamic and fast-growing team working supporting our civils project manager to progress telecoms civils work in order to meet delivery targets set by our client.

As a Streetworks Coordinator, you will support the civils project manager and the civils build manager providing support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively programmed meeting our clients SLA’s whilst building a relationship with local authorities. You will have an understanding of permits (including the conditions) as well as knowledge around FPNs and S74s.

Key Responsibilities

❖ Scheduling work in accordance with target dates

❖ Preparation, submission and updating of Street Works notices in compliance with current

legislation.

❖ Liaise with managers, direct labour and sub-contract teams to ensure programmes are

delivered ensuring that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional

and efficient manner

❖ Escalate streetworks compliance issues where appropriate

❖ Liaise with local authority’s and client representatives

❖ Coordinate with other 3rd parties e.g.Parking suspensions, bus stop suspensions, road

closures etc

❖ Requesting safe dig prints

❖ Good knowledge of red book needed

❖ Allocating resource

❖ Knowledge of scheduling

Experience/Skills Required

❖ Knowledge of telecommunication and/or civil engineering

❖ Able to communicate clearly and consistently

❖ Computer literate

❖ Experience using StreetManager desirable

❖ Good understanding of NRSWA and TrafficManagement

❖ Conscientious and willing to learn and develop

❖ Team player
- happy to assist colleagues and considerate of others

❖ Good attention to detail

❖ Good verbal and written communication skills

❖ Ability to problem solve and work using own initiative

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Hull: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Permitting: 1 year (required)
- Civil engineering: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
