Shipping Coordinator

I-Fulfilment is a leading online integrated fulfilment and associated solutions business under-pinned by our own proprietary fulfilment system (Blade). Our offices are located in Christchurch and Aviation Park at Bournemouth Airport, Dorset. We also have operations in the USA and Europe.

We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Shipping Coordinator to support our Logistics & Carrier Manager with day-to-day operations and running of the team. **About you**:
**Role requirements**:

- Daily monitoring and resolution of shipping services to maintain SLAs
- Work closely with client support team to minimise delays on shipments
- Assisting the logistics team with domestic and international shipping quotes
- Working closely with clients and client support to clear goods through customs
- Working with logistics team to reply to tickets on Zen Desk in a timely manner
- Monitor clients’ orders when shipping rate changes are made to ensure they are working as expected
- Working closely with Logistics & Carrier Manager when introducing new carriers, monitoring and ensuring that the shipments are delivered on time and being dispatched as expected
- Assisting with onboarding and discussing current carriers’ options with new clients

**Skills and abilities**:

- Shipping and customs knowledge and experience would be beneficial
- Strong commercial understanding and awareness
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Must be confident in dealing with customer and supplier queries over the telephone.
- Must have good administration and organisational skills to manage workload and paperwork in an effective and controlled manner at all times.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A high level of numeracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Organised with attention to detail
- Professional and enthusiastic
