We are looking for an experienced Factory Planner to join the Moores Family working on site our head office based on the Thorp Arch Industrial Estate to create and launch batches of work and send down to the various internal manufacturing departments in the correct order of build.
**Key Duties**:
- Create Batches of work throughout the day as necessary using the I Series for all Manufacturing Departments, make sure that each product has the correct Production due date and time
- Sequence loads to all Manufacturing areas according to the load list produced by the Load Planners
- Create Batches of work at precise times of the day for short lead time orders, print labels and where necessary issue to Manufacturing departments, progress chase to make sure product is available to loaded onto vehicles
- Action and resolve sales admin/customer order amendments
- Manage and expedite back orders for out-of-stock product, making sure Customers’ needs are prioritised, keeping spreadsheet up to date and progress chasing to make sure promised delivery dates are met
- Schedule 3A and 3B listings, translating requests for unit parts into recognised picking part numbers, e.g., for floor unit shelves
- Compile the Production Planning report
- Create ‘exception reports’: from information contained on the I Series, e.g., for unplanned customer orders ensuring all customer orders have load numbers
- Management reports: using the I Series system create various reports, e.g., units/day scheduled
- On a Daily basis update the Out-of-Stock Report removing any product despatched, reporting any problem to the Supply Planning Department
- Compiling Transport Paperwork and DIRECT 2 system
- On a Daily Basis, liaise with the Warehouse Office, working to the list produced by the Load Planners, and as Loads have finished loading print paperwork making sure Agency drivers have double copies
- Using the I Series gather information from the Load Schedule and on a Daily basis
- Progress chase orders through the factory ensuring times are met
