We are currently looking for a Treasury Clerk to join our Global Shipping client, based in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, as Treasury Clerk you will maintain cash books and cashflows on a daily basis and process payments.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**- Fantastic interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties-
- A quick learner, someone who is tech savvy and experienced in using Excel (advanced), Word, PDF, on-line banking, knowledge of international payments, and holds accounting knowledge-
- Good attention to detail with high levels of accuracy**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Cash book balances to be maintained and checked daily-
- Update cashflows on a daily basis-
- Bank reconciliations to be prepared monthly-
- Prepare and process monthly payment runs and payroll-
- Process ad hoc supplier payments and cash advances as required, in addition to assisting with general adhoc accounting requests-
- Promote and comply with the company’s “Safety Environmental Policy”, plus any other duties as may be reasonably required by management of the company**REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER**
