If so, and if you're looking for a full-time opportunity then join the friendly team at Chadwick Lodge & Eaglestone View Hospital as a Ground Maintenance Operative and create and maintain a well-presented and safe environment indoors and out.

Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be responsible for effective ground maintenance services and take lead in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment within the premises.

Whether it is within the building or the grounds, you will be able to turn your hand to all maintenance-related tasks and promote H&S measures.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Main duties include grass cutting/strimmer work and weed killing.
- You will be working outside hence you must be comfortable with working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Maintain the security and safety of external areas including paths, car parks, refuse and storage areas
- Undertaking basic gardening duties as and when required in line with the site PPM, this will include, routine garden maintenance, such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, basic plant care, pruning and weeding

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- DIY and Gardening experience
- Previous experience of working in healthcare premises would be a bonus but is not essential
