Café Cook

We are seeking a motivated and talented Kitchen cook to join our team at a small cafe in the heart of Woodford Cook. At Lily’s we take pride in our warm and inviting atmosphere fosters a sense of community, making us a favourite destination for coffee and food lovers alike

As a Kitchen Cook, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' food is prepareed to a high standard in a shiort time.

**Position**: Kitchen cook

**Location**:Woodford Green

**Days per week**: 7am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and assembly of a variety of scrumptious pastries, sandwiches, and hot food
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Handle and store food items properly, ensuring freshness and quality are maintained.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to consistently deliver good quality food.
- Support the coffee shop staff during peak hours, demonstrating a team-oriented attitude.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, representing the café’s brand.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a kitchen cook or similar role is preferred
- Passion for coffee and food, with a keen eye for detail and taste.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.
- Excellent communication skills
- Be friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Must be a team player
