Are you a content leader with a passion for health, wellness, and impactful storytelling? Holland & Barrett, a leading wellness retailer, is searching for a dynamic **Group Editor** to oversee our mission-led content strategy. This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term contract where you will lead an in-house editorial team, working closely with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality content across our owned channels.
Reporting to the Head of Content, you'll play a key role in shaping stories that inform, engage, and inspire our audience, while driving commercial and editorial objectives.
In this role, you will guide your team to produce expert-driven content, translating science-backed information into accessible, actionable formats across various media, from long-form articles to videos and infographics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive, mission-led content strategy tailored to key customer segments across all channels.
- Lead, manage, and develop an in-house editorial team, driving editorial excellence and mentoring the copywriting team.
- Act as a brand ambassador, managing relationships with senior stakeholders and sharing editorial best practices.
- Work closely with the Science and Regulatory teams to ensure content is evidence-based and adheres to industry guidelines.
- Lead the monthly content calendar and planning meetings, ensuring alignment with commercial and engagement KPIs.
**Location**:This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days in the office - one day working from our Nuneaton office and either Nuneaton or London on the 2nd in-office working day

**The Person**:
- **Leadership**: Proven experience leading editorial teams and guiding content development.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Strong relationship management skills, acting as a content ambassador.
- **Collaboration**: Ability to collaborate with agencies, internal teams, and contributors effectively.
- **Strategic Thinker**: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a holistic content strategy.
- **Organisational Skills**: Track record of managing content calendars, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- **Analytical Skills**: Proficient in using tools like Metabase and Google Analytics to inform content planning.
