£27K Basic Plus Bonus

Due to continued expansion we are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller for the PDI Prep Centre based in Bamber Bridge.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**

Are you ready to lead a team of talented technicians and painters towards excellence? As a Workshop Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring that every task is not just completed but exceeds the high standards set by our company. You'll be the driving force behind a first-class customer experience, making sure all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

**OBJECTIVES AND KEY TASKS**

**Inspiring Leadership**:

- Lead by example, allocating work with precision and considering individual skills to ensure optimal performance.
- Uphold a disciplined and positive work environment, maintaining the highest standards of quality and output.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay ahead of the curve by staying updated on technical information, attending courses, and collaborating with suppliers.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Management System to elevate the quality of our work, reducing return visits and enhancing customer satisfaction.

**Coaching for Success**:

- Actively coach technicians and painters, unleashing their expertise to minimise first-time fix issues and elevate workshop skill levels.
- Ensure ongoing training for the team, either on the job or at manufacturer premises, to meet business needs.

**Collaborative Communication**:

- Foster close relationships with logistics, marketing, sales, and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Price up and gain authority for additional work, aligning with manufacturer requirements.

**Safety and Quality Assurance**:

- Uphold standards of appearance, safety, and discipline, creating a safe and tidy workshop environment.
- Take charge of the Quality Check program, driving improvements in repair quality through systematic identification.

**Data Guardianship**:

- Handle all company and customer data in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations 2018, ensuring confidentiality.

**Cultural Ambassador**:

- Champion the Culture and Values of Simpsons Skoda, embodying them in your daily actions.
- Flexibility is key—be prepared for any other duties that come your way, always commensurate with your position.

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year
