**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Must have latte art skills.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and serving areas.
- Supervise and train new staff members in beverage preparation and customer service techniques.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Engage with customers to provide an exceptional dining experience, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, placing orders when necessary.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the café environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a barista role or similar position within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and an eagerness to learn about new products and techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Latte art: 1 year (required)
- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
