Quantity Surveyor

**About this Role:
**A major civil engineering contractor is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a live £100m project in Hampshire which will run for at least the next 4 years' with other projects in the local area being tendered for. The role will be based in a small butexperienced team with a great atmosphere, site set up and relationship with the local area and client giving back to the community.
This project comprises of constructing a new sea wall by installing sheet piling, new cathodic protection, building up pre-cast concrete units and mass rock armour as well as then upgrading the infrastructure with earth bunds, new roads, pedestrian facilitiesand street furniture. The project is phased under an NEC4 contract and will be delivered in £10m - £15m packages.
The project team has a great relationship with the client and are taking a collaborative approach to achieve the best results on the project and for the stakeholders.
Quantity Surveyor Duties include:
- Review tender documentation to ensure terms agreed are suitable, risks identified, and mitigations implemented
- Producing accurate and timely commercial project reports
- Forecasting and change control
- Procurement of subcontractors, negotiation and financial accounting
- Ensure the commercial risks identified at tender stage are carried through post-contract and delivery
- Supervising the performance of the commercial aspects of projects
- Prepare interim valuations and agree final accounts
The business will be able to keep you local on the South Coast for the next 4 years' in a secure team with a growing pipeline of work and opportunities to progress.
