**Fixed term for 12 Months.**
**We have new and exciting opportunities to join our expanding Homes for Ukraine team.***
You will work with other team members to support our Ukrainian guests settle into their host accommodation and access local community support and, for those who are ready, move into more independent accommodation.
You will be focused on Housing options - bringing the necessary housing knowledge to the scheme and working closely with district councils to address any housing issues and support our guests to find a housing solution that meets their needs.
Both of our new roles will work to prevent homelessness by coordinating support to prevent hosting arrangements from breaking down and when this is unavoidable to identify alternative solutions to prevent homelessness.
- You will need to be knowledgeable about housing legislation and be able to provide expert advice within the scheme
- You will have experience of working in a housing-related field
- You will be able to respond to prevent homelessness and bring creative solutions to support alternative accommodation options
- You will work well in a team and be flexible and responsive to need
- You will provide support to others including providing monthly supervision to the housing triage officer
- You will be able to develop strong relationships across the county council, district councils and wider multiagency partnerships to deliver robust responses to assist vulnerable families become independent
- You will lead work to build relationships with a range of housing providers to support independent housing options to be developed.
