Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading engineering organisation who have had significant success across the UK & Ireland. Our client are rapidly growing & as such have created a brand new role within their finance function to support with increasing demand. Our client are looking for an experienced & enthusiastic accounts assistant to join their busy finance team.

Working closely with the company's financial controller & wider finance team, you will be involved in various responsibilities, including:

- Assisting with month end procedures.
- Helping to effectively resolve finance related queries.
- Assisting across the business's accounts payable & receivable functions.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Dealing with high volumes of invoices.

This is a busy, high-volume role & therefore previous experience within a finance focused role is essential.

**What do I need to apply?**

Our client are looking for a proactive & 'hands-on' finance professional to join their team. Ideally you will possess the following:

- 2 years previous experience within a finance focused role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
- Team player.
- Ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines.
- Ability to show initiative.
