**What you'll do**
We're looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our busy HR department on a permanent basis. You'll be a key member of our HR Hub, ensuring the delivery of a first-rate administrative HR service to the business.
The HR Hub provides an essential function to Ashfords' people. As a member of this team, you'll assist with all of the administrative aspects of the employee life-cycle, from onboarding new joiners and processing employee updates, to generating leavers letters and communicating relevant information to our Payroll team.
A huge part of your remit will be to ensure that the HR system accurately reflects the current status of our people, whether that be their booked annual leave, sickness absences, career information or personal contact details. You'll also be responsible for managing the HR Hub inbox, being the first line of response for all general HR enquiries.
This role presents an opportunity to be involved in some really exciting project work, as you'll be integral to the smooth transition across to our new HR system. This will provide you with some great exposure to our processes as a HR team and will enable you to develop an in-depth understanding of the HR system by being central to its implementation.
As a HR Administrator, you'll be joining a friendly and collegiate HR department and you'll be supporting our Talent Attraction and Development sub-teams as and when required, meaning lots of scope to further your knowledge of all facets of HR and collaborate with different members of the team.
**Who you are**
You will be someone who relishes any opportunity to solve a problem and improve efficiencies, so reviewing processes and making full use of available systems will form part of your natural approach to working. You will also be highly-organised and comfortable with the prospect of prioritising a varied workload to ensure that we're providing an efficient service to Ashfords' people. A positive, can-do attitude is therefore key
As accuracy is fundamental to performing this role successfully, you will be someone who prides yourself on attention to the finer details and the importance of this in the production of HR documentation and data input.
The HR Generalist team work closely with each other, so it's extremely important that you are a team-player, who is willing to get stuck in to a variety of tasks and projects. You will not be afraid to contribute creative ideas and suggestions in a team setting.
You will already have some administrative experience, preferably in a professional services setting and you will be eager to kick start your career in HR.
**Why join Team Ashfords?**
Ask our people, and they will tell you that they genuinely enjoy coming to work and spending time with their colleagues.
We're confident that once you discover our open and friendly culture, it won't take long for you to feel the same.
We have a genuine team approach at Ashfords because we know that when talented people work together, we achieve more for our clients and each other.
We also recognise that each of our career journeys is unique. So, we will be ambitious for you and give you the support you need to develop your career, your way.
Importantly, we will give you the space and flexibility for your life outside work too.
Our goal? To help you realise your full potential as part of a forward-thinking team and business.
That's what sets us apart.
**Our offer**
We offer a range of benefits to support you at work and at home.
This includes a flexible working framework, extra annual leave for your birthday and the option to buy more holiday.
We have a comprehensive package to support physical and mental health including onsite yoga classes and a gym at our head office, healthcare plans, an Employee Assistance programme and free access to the Headspace mindfulness app.
You'll also have the chance to get involved in our responsible business programme, including fundraising initiatives through the Ashfords Foundation and bringing your energy to our environment or diversity groups.
