**£22,512.00 - £24,560.00 per annum, pro rata**
**Permanent - 25 hours per week - Monday-Friday, 5 hours a day which can be pre agreed between the hours of 9am-5pm.**

**About the role**

Are you looking for a rewarding position in customer service? In this key role you will provide flexible customer service support working in a busy contact centre, responding to a wide range of customer enquiries on virtually all services provided by theCouncil.

To succeed in this challenging role, you must be able to demonstrate the skills necessary to work under pressure within a fast paced environment using multiple systems.

You will be part of an engaging supportive team and the role would suit someone who has a positive attitude and is keen to deliver excellent customer service.

You will receive all the training and support needed to carry out this role to a high standard.

**You will need**:

- A minimum of 5 qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 2 or GCSE at Grade C/4 or above, must include Maths and English
- Outstanding ICT and keyboard skills and the ability to simultaneously use multiple Microsoft, Google and bespoke systems
- Evidence of experience in a fast paced, high volume customer focussed environment e.g. contact centres
- Excellent active listening skills that demonstrate a customer focus and understanding and have the ability to interpret customer requests for information
- The ability to multitask
