Looking for a **Head Housekeeper** to lead the Housekeeping team at our lovely guest house situated in the heart of Kemp Town.

You'll have an important role in making sure our guests have the best experience possible.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Hard Working, work well under pressure, strict deadlines, following repetitive tasks, some handling of heavy loads, attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- A positive problem solving attitude, with a warm and welcoming personality, with the ability to motivate, train, build/ develop and lead the housekeeping team.
- Knowledge of linen orders, counting and laundry operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.

**DUTIES**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department.
- Cleaning of rooms, communal areas, changing of beds, laundry duties.
- Being the first point of call.
- Supervise all housekeepers, to ensure guests receive the highest standard of cleanliness.
- Conduct daily guest room and public area checks.
- Assist in recruiting and retaining a strong housekeeping team.
- Tracking and ordering all supplies, linen, and complete regular linen inventory counts.
- Assist in the training of all new and existing team members.
- Organise and maintain proper lost and found procedures.

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
