Working alongside the Psychology and Therapy department, you will provide specialist behavioural support to people with a learning disability, mental health issue or personality disorder.

As a PBS Therapist, you will develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans based on service users needs and goals, including empowering recovery and encouraging independence and life skills.

You will be responsible for functional behaviour assessments, positive behavioural support planning and implementations, incident analysis and will be requested to design and deliver training.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the people we support to develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans that both meet their needs and help to grow their independence and life skills
- Support with staff training & development
- Complete behavioural assessment tools, analyse complex data and provide high quality written reports to guide care and treatment
- provide high quality written reports to guide care and treatment.
- Support with Functional Behaviour Analysis and Clinical Formulation
- Be involved with Incident analysis & debriefing

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Have at least an undergraduate degree in Psychology that confers graduate basis for registration (GBR) by the British Psychological Society (BPS)Demonstrate behavioural assessment tools.
- Have, or be willing to work towards, a formal qualification in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)
- Have a good understanding of the legal frameworks that are relevant to the role (eg, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act)
- provide high quality written reports to guide care and treatment.
- Experience within a similar setting.
- A good understanding of the concept of PBS
