This is an exciting new opportunity for a Data Scientist to work for a successful retail brand.

**THE COMPANY**

This is a brand new Data Science role for a hugely successful retail brand who are investing heavily to expand their Digital presence. They are focused on becoming more data-driven and continuously expanding their Data team. As the new Data Scientist you'dbe working alongside three other experts as well as engineers & analysts. It's a great time to join a growing team and have an immediate impact on a huge brand.

**THE ROLE**

As a Data Scientist for the business you will:

- Analyse customer data to understand what causes customers to churn and improve personalisation by making better recommendations
- Analyse marketing data and improve marketing strategies to improve customer conversion
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business to understand their business needs, turn them into technical requirements for the team and ensure projects are completed accurately

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Degree in a numerical or relevant field is preferred
- Experience working in retail or B2C would be preferred
- An excellent understanding of and experience with machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of model deployment would be useful
- Tech: Python/R, SQL, GCP

**SALARY AND BENEFITS**
- Basic salary £50,000 - £60,000
- Bonus
- Benefits package
